Legatees
The dedicated men and women who provide the care and assistance Legacy is known for are called Legatees. Historically, Legatees were returned service men and women, but today Legacy welcomes membership from all people who share our ideals and values. A Legatee is a volunteer who makes a personal commitment to assist the families of those who have served our country
Legatees are the backbone of Coffs Coast Legacy and deliver many of our services, including regular contact with the families of our deceased or incapacitated servicemen and women. As a Legatee you will be allocated your own Legacy widows and families, enabling them to access the support they require. As a Legatee you can also become involved with our fundraising or marketing programs.
You don’t need to have any particular skills or competencies to become a Legatee. We will provide you with all the information and training you need to carry out the role. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Legatee, call the Legacy office for a chat or arrange to come along to one of our meetings.
If you would like more information please call the community service office on 1300 LEGACY (534 229).
